“driving on the ‘wrong side of the road’”

car-keyTony, thank you for your message. I apologise for not getting back to you but we have been pretty busy since arriving home from the US. We struck a problem with the driving school you mentioned. Making a booking had to be done over the internet, for some reason our Master Card Debit card could not be accepted at the booking site. We contacted them via the phone and was told bookings had to be made over the internet. We then contacted another local firm with no problems. My wife and I each had a one hour session in an auto sedan, (the cost was $85 for the two hours).

We both had a chance to become accustomed to driving on the ‘”wrong side of the road”, and we also became familiar with some local road rules which differ from those here in West Aust. We both feel spending the hour with the driving instructor was well worth the expense and are recommending any of our friends making a similar trip to take the same action.
