“service to disabled students”
I have referred many of my Learner Driver Theory students to Tony Loughhead for practical driving lessons. His years of experience in this field make him ideal for teaching the practical side of driving. Once they have passed the Theory Test I have had no hesitation in recommending Tony to help them through the next step in achieving their full licence.
His company Instinctive Driving has offered a service to disabled students in particular where no other was available. I would have no hesitation in recommending his service.
“Tony often goes above and beyond”
Workskil Australia Incorporated (Workskil Australia) is a community based not-for-profit organisation that aims to increase the sustainable social and economic self-reliance of individuals and communities experiencing disadvantage. We do this through the provision of a range of employment, community, youth, health and training programs in South Australia and Victoria.
I am the Regional Operations Manager for Workskil Australia in the Southern Adelaide region.
I would like to acknowledge the work Tony has undertaken for Workskil Australia in the provision of driving instruction services, particularly with our more complex clients who have had some significant behavioural and learning barriers.
Tony has built a great rapport with those clients who would otherwise have struggled to engage in any kind of learning. Tony often goes above and beyond for Workskil Australia’s clients, and not only assisted with gaining their licence but also offering support in other areas.
“The Course was excellent!”
I recently enrolled my daughter Kyri into the Driver Dynamics defensive driving course. She had finished a block of driver training with Tony from Instinctive Driving, had passed her VORT and felt ready for her “P’s”. I wanted to make sure she understood all the things that can go wrong on the roads before I was comfortable letting her drive alone.
The Course was excellent! Kyri had previously done driver awareness courses through school but she said that the practical component of the course really opened her eyes to what she needed to do to be safe when driving. It made her not only understand what her car was capable of, but also a great deal about stopping distances and object avoidance. I strongly feel this course saves lives and I recommend it to all drivers, especially those just starting out so that all those bad driving habits never have a chance to develop.
“Vince passed the VORT first time”
We were very impressed with the professional service provided by Tony from Instinctive Driving. The lessons were tailored to specific needs and Vince passed the VORT first time. We also have extra peace of mind from the Defensive Driving Course with Vince coming home and saying”wow mum, I can’t believe what a difference driving an extra 5kms faster makes.
Thanks again Tony and we will be in touch soon to do it all over again for our next son!
“Tony was reliable, patient and kept us well informed”
Earlier this year I was looking for a driving instructor for my 18 year old (at the time) son and had no idea whom to choose. I went on the RAA website and rang a few instructors they recommended via the learning to drive program.
Tony was the first instructor to contact me and after having a chat I felt he would be a great instructor for Mitchell. Mitchell was comfortable immediately and learnt many life long driving skills and past his test with confidence.
Tony was reliable, patient and kept us well informed of how Mitchell was travelling along with his strengths and weaknesses. Tony was flexible with his hours and picked up or dropped off at TAFE according to Mitchell’s study schedule.
I went out for a few lessons with them early on and recommend all supervised drivers/parents to do so at least once. Not only does this give your learner a consistent method of learning but to improve your own driving skills and not to pass on bad habits.
I would highly recommend Tony as a driving instructor and would like to thank im once again for all his time and patience in getting Mitchell ready to sit and pass his VORT. “
